The modern design of these earrings is to highlight the natural beauty of Brazilian capim dourado (golden grass).

Capim Dourado is grass-like species of Eriocaulaceae which exists in the region of Jalapão, state of Tocantins, Brazil. Its main characteristic is the bright and gold color, hence its common name “capim dourado”, which literally means “golden grass”.

Artisans of Jalapao (Brazil) craft the earrings by hand , weaving spirals that are centered by sparkling glass accents, in a waterfall shape.
